How Many Website Links Do I Have In Google?
With Google’s scheduled search update, which was to be launched in the first week of January 2010. I have received a number of emails from website owners asking how they can find out, how many website links their site has indexed in Google?
Google offers a very simple way of finding out how many links it currently holds in it’s index for a specific website. The results are given as an estimate and should not be seen as an exact count.
To find out how many links your website currently has within Google’s index, simply visit www.google.co.nz or www.google.com, there is no difference in the results which will be shown. Within the search box type: site:yoursite.co.nz , in this case I have used site:nzdirectory.co.nz , you would enter the domain name of your website which you wish to check.
The results will be shown on the right hand side as: Results 1 – 10 of about 18,800 from nzdirectory.co.nz. (0.08 seconds)
The results above tell you that www.nzdirectory.co.nz has 18,800 pages indexed within Google.
The results will be different for each website, depending on a number of factors, such as: the type of website, number of pages the site is made up of, how many links are pointed to the specified website, domain name age, as well as if the site has recently under gone a number of larger updates and has removed certain pages, these would also be removed from Google’s indexed, giving the possibility of loosing some links within the search results.
I hope this article helps you in finding out how many links Google has indexed from your website.

What a great text! No idea how you wrote this report..it’d take me long hours. Well worth it though, I’d assume. Have you considered selling banners on your website?
