What is RSS Autodiscovery and how can I set it up?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) Autodiscovery is a feature that makes it possible for modern web browsers, such as Mozilla Firefox 2.0+ and Internet Explorer 7.0+ to detect if a website has a blog or a RSS feed available, which has become the best way to inform visitors that a website offers a syndication feed.
