What is NZ Directory's main purpose?
To showcase New Zealand services and products to the world.
How do I use NZ Directory?
We offer a number of options with which you can browse or search our directory services with. You may either browse through our directory categories through the directory home page or to find what you are looking for faster, by using our directory or profile search options.
Which websites do you accept?
We only accept New Zealand owned and operated websites. If a website is submitted and we can not determine if it is a New Zealand website or not, it will not be accepted. We also do not accept any websites with violence, hate or nudity related topics. Websites that clearly indicate that they are overseas based will be declined without notice.
How do I add my business to NZ Directory?
You may submit your business for inclusion in to our directory services through the add a listing page, where we offer free and business listing options.
How long till my free listing is added to NZ Directory?
For free listings please allow up to 14 business days for reviewing and inclusion in to our directory services. All business listing options are processed within 24 hours within our directory services.
My free listing was declined, why?
The most common reason a listing is declined by our system, is that the website URL does not match the provided reciprocal link URL.
An example of this is if your website address entered was http://www.yoursite.co.nz and the provided reciprocal URL http://yoursite.co.nz/links.html without the www infront. Our system see's this as 2 different domain extensions and does not process the request, therefore both URL's should either include a www. or not. By default this is already entered within our provided submission form.
Does my business listing ever expire?
Free listings and basic business listings never expire from our directory and search services. All business listing options have a 1 year display period, with the choice to renew at the end of each yearly period or be downgraded to a lifetime basic business listing for free.
How can I update my listing(s) and business profile?
If you wish to update your listing and profile information, you may do so for free by clicking on the update a listing link shown in the main menu, entering the URL which you wish to update and adding your new information. Fields which are left blank will not be changed by our editors.
Why is there a grey screenshot displayed next to my listing(s)?
In some cases certain server settings, htacess or robots.txt instructions may be preventing the functions to index and retrieve a screenshot of a given website.
What type of advertising options do you offer?
We focus on offering targeted business listing and banner advertisement options within our directory and search services. These range from free and paid basic listing options to banner adverts and full page business profiles.
Which payment method can I use?
We accept Direct Bank Deposit, PayPal, Credit Card - Visa, Master Card and American Express (through Paypal).
Are all your services in NZ dollars?
Yes, all services shown on NZ Directory are in New Zealand dollar value ($NZD).
